In October 14, 2017, wildfire broke out and devasted much of Northern California. At least 40 people have been killed and at least 5,700 homes over 200,000 acres have been destroyed. Unfortunately, our retreat center KPYUSA was located in that wildfire. We lost virtually everything. All the trees in the forest burned to a crisp, all the structures (main building, 15+ huts, outdoor bathrooms, etc…) all burned to the ground leaving nothing more than a pile of white ashes.
